The Amazon Gold Series
system softens, filters, reduces ferrous iron, clarifies and polishes your
water to give you an abundant supply of luxurious conditioned water
throughout your home.

and forget ”Smart Features”.
A sophisticated microprocessor controller tells the system when to
regenerate, and just how much salt to use to keep the water quality
constant.
Other systems require you to set and remember several
settings. The ”Demand Initiated” control valve
makes sure the system only regenerates as you need it, saving you water, salt
and money!
How the Amazon Gold
System works
Step 1 :Raw, untreated water
enters RainSoft's exclusive rugged control valve and flows down through the
resin tank.
Step 2 : The water is filtered
and treated as it passes through the special "ion-exchange" resin. Specific
unwanted foreign substances are ionically retained in and on the resin. The
optional charcoal bed further polishes and clarifies the water.
Step 3 : Once completely
conditioned, the water exits the resin tank through the riser pipe and out the
control valve.
Step 4 : At metered intervals,
the unit begins a regeneration process. Using salt as a regenerant, the retained
foreign substances are flushed out of the system and down the drain. The unit
then prepares itself for the next conditioning cycle.
The Amazon Gold system is also available
in a smaller, compact version called the Amazon Gold Super Short. This model is
ideal for those with limited space and is normally able to be fitted under the
kitchen sink.
