Servicing & Salt

 

Servicing your RainSoft water treatment system couldn't be easier. Because the system is fully automated it runs entirely by itself and only needs occasional refills of salt, which is used to soften the water. Of course, it will remind you when you need to refill the salt  so that you don't run out and filters only need to replaced when they are exhausted.

 

Salt

Beware of cheaper, low-quality granular salts designed to be used for de-icing etc. as these may contain impurities which can damage your water softener. We only supply premium, food-grade tablet salt specially formulated for use in water softeners. Because of the high purity of our salts, you can relax in the knowledge that the brine will not damage the integrity of the resin, the valves or the vessel used in your water softener. A few pennies saved in salt can be many pounds spent in costly repairs of your water treatment system!

Filters

You can also get extra filters for your RainSoft system, depending on your requirements. If you have a particularly chlorinated water supply, you can choose from 2 types of Chlorine filters, and if you prefer to have extra filtration for your home's water, we supply a Reverse Osmosis system, which has multiple high-quality filters, which are useful for home water supply with lots of unwanted impurities. These are the two most common filters to compliment your RainSoft system, but we also have a range of other filters and systems. These include Sediment Filters, Taste & Odour Filters, Iron & Manganese Filters, Sulphur Filters, Acid Neutralising Systems and Retention Tanks are available as an addition to your RainSoft system.

Got a non-RainSoft system?

If you have a water treatment system by another manufacturer we can take care of all your servicing needs as we carry and have access to spare parts and replacements for most makes and models.
