Ultrefiner Reverse osmosis drinking water system

Not only do we supply water softeners, for reducing the hardness, but be also supply Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) units, which remove pretty much everything from the water apart from the water molecules themselves! Leaving virtually pure water for you and your family to consume.

Multiple chamber filtering for purer water

The Ultrefiner reverse osmosis system further filters home water supplies, which is especially useful for households that have the need to remove more than normal impurities from their tap water. It is also a great advantage for those with skin conditions, such as dry skin or eczema. The water is passed through a combination sediment and carbon filter to remove all particles 10 microns and larger in size, then reduces chlorine by entering through the carbon portion. The water is then forced through a semi permeable membrane and the dissolved solids are rejected. Most impurities at this point, such as lead, mercury, nitrates and cysts are flushed to drain. Polishes, removes odour and taste When water is required, is is drawn from the storage tank, but on it's way out it is forced through an activated carbon filter. This final polishing filter reduces VOC's (volatile organic containment), impurities, odour and taste. Once it has been through this final process, the pure, filtered water flows from the tap.

Step 1: The water enters the RainSoft ultrefiner R.O. system. the water will first go through a combination sediment and carbon filter to remove all particles 10 microns and larger in size.

Step 2: Next enters through the carbon portion of the combination filter to reduce chlorine.

Step 3: Water is then forced through the RainSoft reverse osmosis semi permeable membrane while T.D.S. (Total Dissolved Solids) are rejected by the surface of the membrane.

Step 4: It is here that a wide range of impurities rejected by the R.O. membrane, such as lead, mercury, nitrates, and cysts such as cryptosporidium and giardia are simply flushed to drain.

Step 5: Once through the R.O. membrane, the filtered water flows into the RainSoft storage tank.

Step 6: When the water is dispensed, air pressure from inside the storage tank forces the filtered water through an activated carbon filter.

Step 7: This final polishing filter made of activated carbon on model UF50T is rated for VOC (volatile organic containment) reduction in addition to reducing impurities, taste, and odour from the water.

Step 8: Finally the treated water flows from the tap, proving delicious water for drinking and cooking.

The Reverse Osmosis system is a combination of 3 carbon sediment filters that force the impurities, odours and unwanted tastes from the water before finally polishing and again filtering the water to give you a constant supply of pure, treated water throughout the house.

Independent Laboratory Testing

Independent laboratory testing provides the assurances that our system will do what it is designed to do. Be aware that many products sold today do not meet many state and federal standards regulating product performance claims. This product has been tested and certified under ANSI/NSF Standard 58 and bears the Water Quality Association's Gold Seal.

These special features enhance efficiency and performance:

  • Built-in automatic drain shut off, when the tank is full, thereby conserving water.

  • Patented, adjustable/reversible/cleanable drain restrictor insures dependable and efficient operation.

  • Optional TDS monitor on the faucet allows for constant monitoring of water quality.

  • Easy to change membrane filters simplify maintenance.

Purity on tap

Not only does Reverse Osmosis give you peace of mind that your water is purer, it also tastes fresher and is much nicer to drink. In fact once you have your Ultrefiner unit installed, you will find that there is no need to buy bottled water ever again. Just imagine having wonderfully clean, purer and delicious water on tap, available all day and everyday!
