Nutritionists and medical researchers agree that one of the most effective steps you can take to improve your overall health and fitness is also very simple – drink at least 64 ounces of water each day. For healthier skin, use RainSoft conditioned water. It's polished and softened (which means it rinses out more thoroughly), so RainSoft water leaves your skin softer, less dry and virtually residue free. Treat your hair right with RainSoft water. The condition of your water affects the condition of your hair; and super-sudsing RainSoft water lathers up a bounty of bubbles with less shampoo, leaving your hair looking lustrous. Preserve more of the essential vitamins and nutrients in your food by adding a very small amount of RainSoft filtered water to your frozen vegetables before you microwave them. Put more fruits and vegetables on your menu. And remember, they'll taste better and look more appealing if they're washed in RainSoft water. Consider choosing white over dark meat. A comparison of total fat in 3.5 ounces of roasted chicken shows that dark meat with skin weighs in with 15.8 grams of fat versus 4.5 grams for white meat without skin. Don't just talk the talk. Walk the walk. At a speed of just 2 mph, walking can burn between 200 and 280 calories per hour. When eating, try holding your fork or spoon in the opposite hand you normally use. This should help you slow the eating process, making your meal experience longer and more enjoyable even though you’re consuming less. It may sound goofy, but many weight loss counsellors swear by it. Improve your workouts and boost endurance when you drink plenty of water. You're less likely to get dehydrated. Plus water enhances endurance because if promotes the storage of glycogen which is used as energy when you exercise. Wash your clothes in RainSoft softened water and they'll be whiter, brighter and softer. When your clothes look and feel better, so do you.
