located on the outskirts of Norwich, is a purpose built club boasting a wide
range of facilities. As well as a Cardio Zone, Super Circuit and Free Weights
areas where you can workout, the heated indoor swimming pool, saunas and a
steam room offer places to relax. For those with more time their fully
trained therapists can pamper you with a extensive range of treatments. All of
these facilities use from some to a large amount of water and hence prior to the
installation of their water treatment system, were costing the company lost
profit through extra heating, extra maintenance and longer downtime.

PROBLEM:
East Anglia's water is notoriously hard
and the effects of hard water were having a significant effect on the business.. The indoor heated swimming pool
required continuous cleaning,
showers and the Jacuzzi were scaling up and becoming blocked, hard water was
reducing the benefit felt by customers from beauty treatments and limescale was
reducing the efficiency of heating elements in the sauna's and steam room.
SOLUTION:
A commercial water conditioning system was installed in the
summer of 2003 to provide luxurious, soft water to the pool, showers, Jacuzzi,
treatment rooms and for the beverages served to customers at the indoor bar and
clubroom.
